i don't procrastinate.
Nothing gets done until the panic arrives on schedule.
the task was never forgotten. it sat there, fully visible, for eleven days.
that time was not idle. it was spent emotionally marinating: thinking about the task, dreading the task, describing the task to somebody else in detail.
then the deadline moved close enough to touch, adrenaline arrived as an unpaid consultant, and the whole thing got finished in forty minutes.
not procrastination. a chemical funding model.
