i hear the light.
The buzzing is real. It has always been real.
it has a pitch. it has been holding that pitch since the room opened.
naming it out loud gets you a look, then a reassurance, then the word overreacting, which is the polite version of the report being filed as noise.
the buzzing does not stop being real when it is only audible to one person in the room.
it is buzzing. it has been buzzing all day.
